We've resolved the cause of the issue and message processing has been running at expected levels since approximately 09:35 (BST). A minor update to one of the services is being developed to ensure this particular issue does not re-occur.

Identified

We have identified the root cause of processing delays and are working on mitigation steps. We have noted improvement in processing speed and expect all backlogged items to be processed shortly.
